Across the nation, we have found that many of our competitors employ an “if you build it, they will come” mentality to the development of imaging centers, in which they generally own 100% of the asset and sub-lease to physician and hospital parties.  This has proven to be a successful model – but not one that describes Imaging One.

We believe our model reflects the future of the industry.  Imaging One chooses to remain flexible when crafting a partnership and prefers to have an open dialogue as opposed to a rigid model. Our intent is not to have a controlling interest, but rather a minority position. And, our state-of-the-art centers are built with significant input from the doctors and hospitals who will be utilizing it.

More and more hospitals are looking for collaborative ways to partner with their physicians, whether to strengthen physician relationships or for additional revenue streams.

While Imaging One typically takes a minority position in its partnerships, we believe it is important for our physician and hospital partners to have equal equity positions. This allows for a level playing field between the two parties, better aligning incentives to be successful.

In every market, there are valuable resources to be tapped.  From nurses and healthcare professionals to contractors and suppliers. Imaging One believes strongly in the use of these local resources from development through management.

We Know Physicians...  and Hospitals.
Members of the Imaging One team have successfully developed and managed numerous healthcare facilities, including imaging centers, ambulatory surgery centers and hospitals. All with physician partners and often with hospitals.  With this propensity towards physician projects, we bring to our partnerships extensive syndication expertise.

As the middle man, Imaging One must manage multiple relationships between the physician’s desire for independence and the hospital’s desire for a successful project in keeping with their overall strategic objectives.

Syndication is Second Nature.
A joint venture cannot exist without going through the process of syndication, which requires a thorough understanding of deal structure, the complexities of shared governance and securities issues. Having completed more than fifty syndications with physicians, hospitals and other investors, the Imaging One team members will guide you through the complicated process of your initial syndication, and later expanding the enterprise by involving new physician investors in order to maximize value.
